As a fan of foreign cultures and making real life connections, Hong Kong University architecture graduate Jersey Poon decided to build a community centre in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Rather than take the usual path of practising as an architect in a commercial firm, she found this experience far more rewarding than the pursuit of money.
