In order to recognise and encourage local university students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance with diverse talents and a strong dedication to community service, the Foundation hosts the annual 'For Our Future Scholarship'. To promote the development of innovation and technology in Hong Kong and to nurture talents in this area, the Foundation has launched the 'For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship' to local PhD students studying STEM-related subject. This scholarship aims to support research students and foster engagement among local youth in the fields of innovation and technology.

In the first round of selection, students nominated by their universities and colleges should provide supporting documents such as personal essays and academic transcripts, as well as evidence of participation in community service and well-rounded development. The candidates of 'For Our Future Scholarship' will go through two rounds of interviews conducted by the Foundation’s office and the Scholarship Selection Committee, while those for the 'For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship' will be interviewed directly by the Scholarship Selection Committee. 

To support the ongoing development of these students, the Foundation has established the 'For Our Future Alumni Club'. Through a variety of activities, including exchange tours, skill enhancement workshops, sharing sessions, and volunteer services, the Club aims to broaden students’ perspectives, enhance their competitiveness, and enable them to leverage their strengths to contribute to the society. 

Programme Details:

For Our Future Scholarship  2026-27

Target Audience: Students aged 18 to 30 from 13 higher education institutions* who are enrolled in full-time bachelor's or master's degree programmes 

Quota: 15 persons 

Scholarship Amount: HKD 50,000 each 

Application Period：From October 6 to November 5, 2026

Application Method：All applications have to be submitted through Student Affair Office

For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2026/27

Target Audience: Students aged 18 to 35 enrolled in full-time doctoral programmes in STEM fields from 9 universities*

Quota: 10 persons

Scholarship Amount: HKD80,000 each

Application Period：From October 6 to November 5, 2026

Application Method：All applications have to be submitted through Student Affair Office
