Following the successful completion of the 'GenRobo — A.I. Application Programme' and its award ceremony in July 2025, the Foundation organised a study trip in mid-October for 36 award-winning students to Shenzhen, a city synonymous with innovation. The aim was to give students a close-up view of China’s technological strengths through visits to leading tech enterprises and iconic landmarks — an immersive technology experience from start to finish.
The first stop was Baidu Building, where students explored the latest breakthroughs in autonomous driving and even took a ride in the popular 'Apollo Go’ self-driving car. As the vehicle set off smoothly, autonomous driving no longer felt like a concept — and excitement soared!
Next, they visited the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, the world’s first museum dedicated to digital civilization and technological innovation. With interactive installations and immersive exhibition halls, the museum offered unprecedented experiences — from artificial intelligence to digital lifestyles — sparking curiosity and inspiring scientific exploration at every turn.
This journey not only allowed students to witness the power of technology firsthand but also ignited passionate discussions about A.I. and innovation. We hope this enthusiasm and curiosity will continue to fuel future growth in the technology and innovation sector.
